Nic Neary is an American film producer with a diverse background in indie features, music videos, and commercial production. Originally from Akron Ohio, Nic was raised with a deep appreciation for the creative arts and popular culture. While writing his senior thesis at The College of Wooster, Nic was afforded the opportunity to work with renowned filmmaker and fellow alumnus Duncan Jones, an experience which cemented his passion to pursue a career in filmmaking.
In addition to working in production on feature films premiering on Netflix, Hulu and at the Sundance Film Festival, Nic produced the original television pilot “Shrimp” with writer/director Zelda Williams which premiered at 2018 Tribeca TV Festival and the Vimeo Staff Pick Short Film “Meet Cute” starring Juno Temple.
In 2019, Nic produced the Solange Knowles album concept film "When I Get Home", which was nominated for an MTV VMA, premiered at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and is now enshrined in the Criterion Collection.
In 2020, Nic produced a horror comedy for the CW called Kappa Kappa, Die!, directed by Zelda Williams which was received with critical acclaim.
In 2022, Nic won a coveted Cannes Gold Lion and Clio award for his outstanding commercial work.
In 2023, Nic’s short film Rabbit Hole won Best Episodic at the Chelsea Film Festival.
Most recently, he wrapped up production on the horror comedy feature, The Invisible Raptor, starring the incomparable Sean Astin which premiered at the 2023 Sitges Film Festival in Spain.
